The Anglesey Audax Route – this route starts from our base at Llangefni and gently meanders through the country lanes of Anglesey passing the famous Parys Mountain which was once the largest copper mine in the world. The route continues in an anticlockwise direction around the island where you will see many old wind mills that Anglesey were famous for centuries ago. Following the West coast we find flatter ground and sandy beaches before arriving back at Cyclewales.

The Snowdonia Loop – this route takes us off the island and follows country lanes up to the village of Bontnewydd before we head up to Rhyd Ddu and follow the route of the Welsh Highland Railway, we might even see some of the steam trains. From here we decend 5km into Beddgelert and follow the river into Nant Gwynant for a cafe stop before we start the long but steady climb up to Peny y Gwryd and then onto Pen y Pass before we descend the Llanberis Pass and eventually get into Llanberis and slowly back onto Anglesey. The scenery on this route are outstanding

The Lleyn Peninsula – this route starts at Inigo Jones Slate Works near Penygroes where you can either meet us or be taken there in our vehicle with your bike. Starting on the Lon Eifion cycle path we follow a route that takes us along the backbone of the peninsula through the beautiful contryside of this area eventually getting us to Aberdaron on the furthest point of Lleyn for a lunch stop. The return route takes in more quiet lanes and we might even find a hill or two before we finish!

Or design your own route be it 1 day or multiple days and we can offer you the support
Guided Rides
If you are looking for a shorter route with a guide who is full of knowledge of the local area and history why not join our colleagues at GreenLane Cycles for an outstanding day out!
